Adam Milstein, an Israeli American, real estate entrepreneur, and philanthropist has created quite a buzz in certain corners of the web with his newest article published on JNS (Jewish News Syndicate). For those who are unaware; JNS is the fastest growing news agency covering Israel and the Jewish World. Milstein’s piece entitled “Unlikely Radical Alliances Fan the Flames of Anti-Semitism Worldwide” is a scathing indictment of the left’s unique brand of hypocrisy and bigotry.
Milstein begins his piece affirming the already present bigotry, antisemitism, and racism found in certain sectors of the far right. Home of hate fueled organizations such as the Klu Klux Klan, Jihadist, and other (insert race) supremacists and (insert religion)extremists. What is surprising is the new allies in anti-Semitism are found on the far left of the political spectrum. While radical Muslims are known to suppress the rights of women, homosexuals, and any minority to be within their sphere of power. Radical leftists who consider themselves social justice warriors, champions of human rights, and overall liberators of the oppressed have been aligning themselves with radical Muslim groups and ideology.
So how does the ultra left legitimize their staunch support of radical Islam’s bigoted extremes? Adam Milstein muses that leftists have a difficult time separating mainstream Muslims from radicals. Instead they are grouped together as an oppressed people held down by western civilization and the Nation of Israel. Indeed radical Muslim groups spread deceptive propaganda vilifying Israel as oppressive to all Muslims and not just defensive against radicals. The radical left has indeed swallowed these lies whole.
Citing several examples, Adam Milstein highlights the hypocrisy of the left in action beginning with political activist Linda Sarsour’s decision to champion an unindicted co-conspirator of the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing during her speech “Jihad against Trump”. Likewise at Tufts University a leftist inspired publication entitled ” Disorientation Guide” referred to Israel as a “white supremacist state” and regurgitated radical Muslim ideology calling Israel a colonial occupier instead of recognizing Israel as a sovereign nation. Yet another example happe ed at an LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) event in Chicago where supporters of the LGBT community were expelled for marching with a star of David on their pride flags.
The article continues with Adam Milstein drawing a correlation between modern day radical leftists and the Iranian Revolution of the 1970s in which Islamists were able to garner much support from the radical left. However once the power shifted the left was decimated by radical Muslims. He concludes with a warning that antisemitic leftists who have allied with Islamic extremist are indeed a threat to all Americans and Jews around the globe. After pondering the contents of the article one can conclusively arrive toward the opinion that it seems any alliance with radical Muslim groups seems to only favor radical Muslim groups. Food for thought…
