Andrea was one of the pioneer members of the Notable Women of the Long Center. She is a former president of Inherit Austin, a foundation that safeguards the cultural and architectural aspects of Austin. Andrea has been actively involved in fighting cancer. She has been involved in raising funds for cancer research, prevention, and treatment. She also participated in Dancing With the Stars event to raise funds for a child protection center as a celebrity dancer.
